Mission Statement of GWI

It is the mission and desire of Gospel Workshops International to bring Gospel music to every part of the world, one city, state, and nation at a time. Our objective, through our workshops, seminars,  and classes, is to advance the skills of those in music ministry and to properly educate in the origins and evolution of gospel music as well as its importance in ministry. It is our goal not only in America, but in every culture around the world. Music Minister Deverett Eagle- Keyboardist/Instructor

Deverett ‘Dskillz’ Eagle was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. Being the youngest of six children allowed him to have a strong sense of family values, teamwork and unity. At the early age of ten he found himself drawn to music while attending church with his mother. Playing drums was the beginning of his vast musical journey. After a few years of playing drums and singing in the youth choir he was drawn to the attraction of learning how to play the organ and teaching vocal parts. Spending the next several years working with local church choirs, college choirs, groups, and artists helped give him the experience to embark upon the next level of his life.

Throughout his life he’s had the privilege of being connected to local and major entertainment artists, such as Rich Wilson, Anwar Robinson, Donovan Jackson, Lauren Hill, and many others. Having a desire to become more involved in the industry, in 2001, he established Dskillz Productions. With many friendsthrough out entertainment, Dskillz was connected to many of the major record labels that includes Capitol, Atlantic, Sony, Def Jam and Jive.
In 2008 he decided to establish the multi-faceted entertainment company that is Eagle Entertainment World Wide. After working with many local artists from demo projects, vocal coaching and artist development, he was connected to a very promising and energetic artist named Trina G. Since managing the early years of her professional musical career she has landed a record deal with Capital Records.

Now having established E2W, which provides artist and client management, artist development, vocal coaching, booking and more, he is looking to bring back the true fundamentals of the basis of the entertainment industry. There are three things that can be expected from Dskillz and E2W FAMILY…integrity, quality,
